Welcome to Anderson's Shiba Inus

My name is Deborah Anderson. I am located in Northeast Oklahoma where I have had the privilege of raising Shiba Inus for the past 24 years. I have established good bloodlines of healthy, beautiful, smart and social dogs with great temperaments. I am originally from Illinois where I attended the University of Illinois and graduated with a degree in Biology and a minor in Physics. After graduating I spent some time working for a veterinarian clinic. If you wish to visit my facility to meet me and my dogs, please contact me to schedule an appointment.

I am a very hands on breeder, spending a lot of time with my dogs. They are not kept in crates or on concrete. They are in very large outdoor pens with plenty of shelter. They can enjoy the fresh air, sunshine and be active. My puppies are given lots of individual attention. They respond to my love and care and will be a wonderful family companion. All of my dogs are AKC Registered, and all males are DNA Certified. I have researched all my dog’s pedigrees, giving me insight into their history, including past Champions.

My veterinarian gives each puppy a wellness check at 6 weeks of age. I follow his instructions for vaccinations, preventive parasite control and all other guidelines to insure each puppy’s health. My Veterinarian also makes an annual inspection to insure all my dogs are healthy.

Anderson's Shiba Inus is USDA certified. USDA and AKC have visited and inspected my facilities numerous times. Neither USDA, AKC, nor my veterinarian have ever found me negligent in any aspect of proper care for the well being of my dogs and puppies. All puppies come with a 1-year health guarantee and have AKC Registration Papers.
